Dialog - Live (LP)

Dialog – Live

Dialog, the collaborative project of Samuel van Dijk (VC-118A) and Rasmus Hedlund, present their first officially released live recording, captured at the intimate Pe festival in France in 2024. Released on their own Dialog Sound imprint, Live (SOUND01) unfolds across two sides of immersive, fully improvised dubwise electronics.

Moving between deep, soundsystem-rooted rhythms and more abstract, atmospheric territory, the duo blur the boundaries between dub techno, experimental electronics and organic sound design. Mechanical pulses dissolve into shifting layers of texture, metallic reverberations and melancholic drones, while fragments of rhythm emerge and recede through vast, echo-laden spaces.

Built entirely in the moment, the performance captures Dialog at their most instinctive, shaping and reshaping sound in response to each other and their surroundings. Familiar dub techno foundations are stretched into something more fluid and exploratory, where hypnotic repetition, subtle tension and intricate processing create a deeply absorbing listening experience.

A compelling document of Dialog's evolving live practice, balancing meditative depth with adventurous sonic experimentation. Deep listening music for those who like their dub spacious, unpredictable and full of possibility.
